This week is Increase the Peace Week at APG! The goal of this week is to build community in order to increase peace and safety at APG and have an overall positive impact on school climate. During lunch every day this week, there will be peace-related activities on the yard, red tile area, library, and Wellness Center. Check the school loop calendar for an updated list of activities. Various classrooms will also show films and provide lessons on how we can increase the peace at school and in the world. Here are this year’s APG ITPW themes adapted from Teaching Tolerance (www.tolerance.org).
ALL WEEK, get a Peace Passport at any activity station during lunch. If you get 3 stamps then you can get a prize. You can also enter a drawing for a bigger prize.
